“I feel fine!” Irish athlete Caitriona Jennings was back in work today - just 48 hours after setting a new 100-mile world record. The Donegal runner achieved the feat at the Tunnel Hill 100 Mile in Illinois, her debut race over the distance. She clocked a time of 12:37:04, more than five minutes faster than the previous best. “I am stiff and steps are a little bit challenging. But I definitely thought I’d be worse,” she said.
